Mission

The Mission of the Department of Special Education is to assure student achievement by providing a continuum of appropriate specialized services and supports. 

Philosophy

Students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities, deserve

and are entitled to receive appropriate educational services that are provided by

highly qualified professionals who use evidence - based

programs and practices to meet students' unique needs For all students there

needs to be a variety of services within a continuum of placement options that

offers opportunities to learn with age - appropriate peers.
